As I ease back into my little blog world, I have also been easing back into my crafts. This week Kerstan finished our new entertainment center. It's beautiful, and I wanted to decorate it! I like the earthy, natural decorations that seem to be everywhere right now, so I decided to make a terrarium. I'll be the first to say that I am awful with any kind of plant. I can't plant them or keep them alive for the life of me. So I chose succulents - trendy and easy to keep. Win-win!

Supplies:

Glass container of your choice - watch Goodwill and craft stores for really cheap, unique pieces
Dirt - I took mine from my backyard
Succulents - $2-$4/piece at a gardening or hardware store
Rocks - Find your own outside or buy a bag of clean ones for 99 cents at IKEA

If I can do this, so can you. Just follow these easy steps:

And enjoy! Succulents need very little care. With my bad planting luck, I'll probably have to replace the plants in a few months, but here's to hoping I keep these little guys happy!

I also had a couple ceramic scottie dogs that I found antiquing recently, so I threw in a couple succulents for fun.
